I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Kentucky. I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in May 2020.
I study topics in public economics, economics of education, labor economics, and development economics. My most recent research is primarily concerned with postsecondary education and transitions to workforce, state and local public finance, and education finance and policy.
I have been working as a research assistant at the University of Illinois Institute of Government and Public Affairs (IGPA) since 2016. The projects that I am involved in include Fiscal Futures Project and Illinois Teachers' Retirement System.
I was a visiting research fellow at the Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) at Duke University from 2018 to 2020.
