I am a fifth-year Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). I study topics in public economics, economics of education, labor economics, and development economics. My most recent research is primarily concerned with public finance and public sector pension policy in the State of Illinois, and education policy in China.
I have been working as a research assistant at the University of Illinois Institute of Government and Public Affairs (IGPA) since 2016. The projects that I am involved in include Fiscal Futures Project and Illinois Teachers' Retirement System.
I am currently a visiting research fellow at the Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) at Duke University.
